Kenndy Krieger Institute James A. Ferguson Emerging Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program
CDC funded nine week summer program providing educational and professional development opportunities for students from under-represented populations defined by the federal government and those interested in addressing health disparities related to infectious diseases. (Applications for Summer 2019 will open on November 1, 2018)

Clinical research and development opportunities for high school students and medical students.
Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholars and Fellows Program
A one-year mentored clinical research training experience for doctoral students in the health sciences, including medical, dental and public health students
Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellows Program
The Medical Research Fellows Program supports a year of full-time biomedical research training for medical, dental, and veterinary students.
National Institutes of Health Training Programs in the Biomedical Sciences
NIH offers many opportunities for students of all degree levels to conduct research on the NIH campus. Programs include short-term and longer commitments for college, post-bac, graduate and post-doctoral level scholars. The programs for medical and dental students include the NIH Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP), the HHMI-NIH Research Scholars Program and the NIH Clinical Electives Program.
