Overview
While the COVID-19 pandemic has touched nearly every community in the U.S., it has highlighted striking socioeconomic and healthcare inequities that disproportionately impact African Americans, LatinX and Native American populations and other historically underserved communities.
Resources developed by IDSA and others use data to quantify the extent of these inequities and their impact on the course of the pandemic; examine the impacts of systemic racism; and offer recommendations for clinicians, health organizations and policymakers to address persistent disparities.
